Research Topic 1.1

My research topic is on Portraiture. Hopefully it will comprise a questionnaire and a series of interviews exploring the following:

• family and pet portraiture, what do consumers want
• classic photography v/s contemporary photography
• current trends in portrait/pet photography
• the role of Photoshop in Portrait photography

My methodology is to choose a reasonable sample of consumers and photoshop experts through a questionnaire examine the direction and potential of pet photography, particularly in Canberra. I will also explore and research existing journals and publications about studio portraiture.

My findings will be provided as both an online(tbc) and written report. I would like to video some interviews. My final report will be posted on my blog.
